In plain words

You can read everything without an account. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your data.

Accounts

Signing in (for the live chat, sharing a story, Notes or the AI guide) uses an email link or Google through our network sign-in. Other people only see your anonymous handle. We keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your email plus an encrypted copy, and never show it to anyone.

No trackers

No advertising pixels, no third-party analytics cookies, no fingerprinting. Cloudflare's cookieless traffic counts only.

What we store

Saved items stay on your device. Questions to the AI guide are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to get an answer. We keep counts and, for abuse limits, a daily-rotating hash of your connection; we never store your IP address in readable form. Chat messages in public rooms are deleted after 30 days.

Payments

Payments are processed by Names.com through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Private mode

Turn on Private mode from the menu: nothing is saved on your device, not even saved items.

No data sales

We never sell or share your data. Ever.

Use the contact form at /contact. A person reads every message.
